Reflective floor marking tape is not a common requirement but is also not rare.
On its own, reflective tape is not well suited for floor marking tape use, although durable for use in even demanding external applications reflective tape is not designed to cope with foot traffic, it is a different use and has different durability demands. Even our extremely durable DOT approved floor marking tapes would soon degrade if used on floors, the constant footfall, the contact with fork lift trucks etc would cause if to fragment.
Heskins produces an extremely durable reflective floor marking tape as we top laminate the reflective material with our PermaTop.
PermaTop provides an extremely tough protective upper covering that protects the base tape but allows the reflective properties to be fully functional. The addition of PermaTop provides a mild non-slip embossing surface but is also easily cleaned. We can produce using any of our reflective base colors. I hope we can help!
